Carbon footprint audits
The top 100 companies on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange have now been asked to do a full carbon disclosure exercise that needs to be audited each year. This is a bold move in the right direction and sets the tone for business and its effect on the environment in South Africa.
This is not compulsory, but certainly puts you ahead of the rest and these audits and disclosure reports can help you produce a carbon neutral product like wine, food, or maybe even “a green accommodation with a neutral carbon footprint”
