Who we are
WastePlan is a Cape Town based on-site waste management company that specializes in recycling and landfill reduction in South Africa. We believe in the value of relationships, and strive to maintain a healthy balance in our relationships with our clients, staff and recyclers.
This ensures deeper commitment from our staff, transparency from our clients , and good service from our recyclers. “If we cannot save you money, we don’t get involved”, is our motto, and we have been able to live up to this for just over 7 years (ask any of our clients).
We are servicing over 80 clients in Gauteng, the Western Cape and soon in KZN.
We are a level 2 BEE contributor- with 125% procurement recognition (download certificate).
We are committed to environmentally-conscious business practice; as such we understand that protecting our shared environment is of vital importance to all WastePlan employees, clients and the broader community. Our environmental policy forms the foundation of our environmental management system.
We have a Heritage accredited status and are in the process of gaining ISO 14001 accreditation.
One of our passions is embodied in the statement ‘Waste is not waste anymore’. What do we throw away that has further use and currently has value for someone to make a living?
