Accreditation as a waste management service provider in terms of the City of Cape Town Integrated Waste Management by-law 2009 (C15/03/09) (as amended 2010) and the policy for the accreditation of service providers of waste management services in Cape Tiwn (C47/10/09).

Cofesa has been one of the largest and most successful Confederations of Employers Organisations in South Africa since 1989.


e-Waste Association of South Africa

The e-Waste Association of South Africa (eWASA) was established in 2008 to manage the establishment of a sustainable environmentally sound e-waste management system for the country.

South African Association for Food Science and Technology (SAAFoST)

SAAFoST is the Association for Food Scientists, Technologists and other Professionals serving the food and allied industries in South Africa. The organisation provides its members with valuable networking and knowledge-sharing events and publications. SAAFoST promotes education and professionalism as well as an appropriate legislative structure in the industry.

The Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA) is a multi-disciplinary non-profit association that is committed to supporting professional waste management practices.
