Do you know your business Waste Streams?
You might have wondered what happens to items that are recycled. The answer is both simple and complicated. In a nutshell, new, useful products are made from old ones.

At WastePlan, we sort the waste of businesses such as hotels, hospitals, food factories, universities, shopping centers, office parks, distribution centers and more.

Our Waste Management services are seen as a partnership.

Waste Streams

Here is what happens to the waste:

  • Wet Waste/Organic Waste is separated from the Non-Recyclable or contaminated general waste.
  • You can use Organic/Wet waste for Composting.
  • General Waste is removed to a registered landfill site for disposal.
  • Organic Waste
  • Food Waste
  • Liquid Waste

All of the above is used for composting.

Recyclables are sorted per category

  • Cardboard
  • Paper
  • Plastic
  • Tetrapack
  • Glass

Sorted Materials Are collected on site and taken to a (MRF) Material Recycling Facility where it is baled. Materials are then sold to recyclers.

Our clients receive a REBATE for all recyclable materials sold from their site
